Fiesta Grande RV Resort

1511 E. Florence Blvd. Casa Grande Arizona 85122

Roughly halfway between Arizona’s two largest cities (Phoenix & Tucson) you will find the quaint but modern town of Casa Grande. I love Casa Grande because it provides all the needed amenities such as good food, shopping and entertainment without the hustle and bustle (and traffic) of a major metropolitan. If you need a dose of the big city, just hop onto I-10 and within 60 minutes in either direction you can be smack dab in middle of city life.

I took advantage of this by making several business trips to Phoenix and Tucson. It also provides opportunities if you need a specialty retail store such as IKEA or one of the major RV dealers. Casa Grande also put you in close proximity to other special venues like sporting events, concerts or festivals . During my stay I made the short drive to Tempe took in a Spring Training game between the Anaheim Angels and my beloved Cleveland Indians. I had never attended a spring training game and it something I would definitely do again. Best of all the Indians won 11-10… Go Tribe.

While staying in Casa Grande I camped at the Fiesta Grande RV resort. Fiesta Grande is part of the Encore Resort system and is an age qualified (55+) RV Resort. It is located on Florence Blvd. which I would consider Casa Grande’s main drag.

This is a large park that hosts 767 sites. Most are back ins but they do have at least one row of pull through sites. Each site is large with full hook ups. A nice concrete pad is also provided and there is extra room beyond the pad to spread your large ground covering extending your porch area. I tend to live very simply (since its just me) so I didn’t utilize all the space granted but it was sure nice to have the extra space between rigs.

Fiesta Grande RV Resort is a community that provides tons of activities. Some of the most popular include Shuffle Board, Pickle Ball (both draw a crowd every morning), horseshoes, putting green and a driving area.

There are also two swimming pools, a well stocked library with a puzzle table, and a well furnished exercise room.

There is even an arts and crafts room. To be honest it was the best craft room I have seen at a RV resort. This room had several work tables, individual lights and even wood working tools such as drill presses and jig saws. Very Nice and Very Clean!

The park also has a billard hall and a large activity room where they hold church services, pot lucks, concerts and much more.

Of course none of this is possible without a great staff. On all three of my visits the staff members greeted me with a smile, were patient and willing to help with all my questions and needs. When arriving there is a nice parking area to leave your RV while checking in. Once checked in you are then escorted to your site and assistance (if needed) is provided to properly position your rig on the site. I found my site to be quiet and the resort full of energy.

It is truly a great resort and I hope to visit it again before leaving Arizona. I am even considering snow birding here if my future travel permits. I would like to thank the staff at the Fiesta Grande RV Resort for providing an awesome experience and helping me to Lose Track of Time. I hope to see you all soon.
